When we started pet sitting, we never thought about how attached we would get to the animals we were
hired to care for. Now, along with their owners, we feel a sense of loss over the passing of our little
friends. To honor them, we decided to add a memorial page.
Farewell friends - we will miss you.
Libby
Libby was a special friend. She was sweet, loyal, kind, and never cross with those
she trusted. Libby had such expressive eyes she could almost talk with them. On her
mischevious days, she liked to chase squirrels (almost dragging us through the park
to catch them!), and she liked to eat things on her walks that she wasn't
supposed to! We still wonder how she managed to find a dead fish in the middle
of the park one day. That was a tug-of-war that we lost - but Libby was happy!
Libby was loved very much by her owners, and by us. We will miss her.
.
Slater
Slater - always elegant, sophisticated, and opinionated! He was a friend not only to us,
but was very social with neighborhood cats, sharing his food as well as play time with them.
We loved how Slater would hold a conversation
with us every time we would visit.
Oreo
Oreo was the boss. Everything was on HER terms! Only her owners dared to pick her up.
Yet Oreo was very fun to play with. She would always hiss and claw at her toys and liked to
casually stroll onto the patio to enjoy the outdoors. Oreo had loads of personality and was
full of spunk. We never knew what she had in store for us each time we would visit!
Charlie
Charlie lived a long life. He was kind and gentle, and a loyal friend to his family.
Poco
Little Poco was very sweet. She was a challenge to walk AWAY from her home, but
she was hard to keep up with on the way BACK!
